Job Context:
∎ FH Association (a Christian, relief & development organization) wants to fill one (1) Program Director- Operations (PDO) position for its Joint Rohingya Response Program (JRRP) in Cox`s Bazar and therefore, inviting applications from eligible external candidates. The Program Director- Operations provide leadership and supervision to FH JRRP`s Logistics, Finance, HR, Field Operation and Security teams. This position will be responsible for the leadership and management of day-to-day activities in the central Cox`s Bazar office.

∎ Position : Program Director- Operations

∎ Report to : Chief of Party - JRRP
∎ Location : Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide strategic guidance and overall leadership to the program operations team including logistics, finance, HR, field operation and security team in FH, Cox's Bazar, Joint Rohingya Response program (JRRP);
∎ Lead and manage the program operations teams, ensuring clarity over strategy, plans and priorities, providing supervision, guidance and mentoring, encouraging effective teamwork and inclusiveness and building a team spirit through regular meetings and proactive supervision;
∎ Manage JRRP logistics operations including logistics management, procurement (or purchasing) of goods and services, stock or inventory management, contract management, transport and distribution, asset and equipment management, fleet management, office and facilities management, etc.;
∎ In close collaboration with the COP, oversee the logistics and procurement activities by ensuring they meet FH Bangladesh policies as well as government and donor standards;
∎ Ensure compliance with organizational HR and finance policies and procedures;
∎ Support cross-departmental risk identification and mitigation actions that align with organizational and regional risk-management initiatives;
∎ Develop systems and processes for procurement, supply chain and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of program services at the field level;
∎ Ensure government relations are maintained and FH image and representations are of highest standard in local government offices;
∎ Other Duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five (5) years of professional experience at a senior management level with a national or an international NGO;
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Procurement and Logistics, HR & Financial Management.
∎ Knowledge & Competencies:

∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bengali;
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support.

Salary:
