Job Context:
∎ Location: CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be for Five (05) years
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist respective program staff to develop effective strategies and operational plans.
∎ Monitor the quality of the implementation of each program as per strategy and plan of the program.
∎ Guidance and support to each team so that the program strategies and activities complies with CARE Bangladesh's LRSP, Impact Goals, program directions and principles
∎ Oversee preparation of implementation plan and time-to-time revision and fine-tuning of the plans as per relevant information from stakeholders and field.
∎ Guide the respective project to document the lessons learned and share with other sector of CARE Bangladesh and outsides.
∎ Promote the ideas of high quality program implementation among the project staff and partners.
∎ Assist respective project/program to design and implement the plan for monitoring the quality of the implementation process.
∎ Support projects to make understand of assessing and documenting ng the impact of the initiatives/interventions and also guide to evaluate and document the impacts.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 12 years' experience including, 12 years direct supervision of project implementation of which 5 years were at the field level and 5 years in a mid-level managerial position.
∎ Fund mobilized; Donor liaison and representation: Has considerable experience in donor representation.
∎ Networking at national level: Has knowledge and experience in liaison with GOB and NGO
∎ counterparts and development partners, able to coordinate with appropriate stakeholders and
∎ Involve them in planning, monitoring, and evaluation of project activities.
∎ Strong communication, report writing and presentation skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent verbal land written communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer skills (spreadsheets, word, databases and other programmes).
∎ Oversight of budget and other resources: Can manage multi-year grants. Has knowledge of donor compliance requirements.
∎ Has supervised minimum of seven key staff.
∎ Project evaluation experience: Has worked as a member of project evaluation team.
∎ Is able to foster synergy across specific projects: Has experience on mission-wide initiatives, cross- visits or problem analysis teams.
