Job Context:
∎ LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh
∎ Play key role through self initiative and innovative idea in community to raise awareness and disseminate message using folk song, street drama, other appropriate local opportunity, maximum possibilities and resources to find out suspected fistula patients. Liaison with UH&FPO, UFPO, local journalist, UNO, LGI representative, GoB staff, traditional haler, TBA , CHCP, different professional group /samity, to create a platform for introducing and implementing SS-FGF project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build network with different health focused NGOs, press media, electronic media, government health officials
∎ Identified local artist and cultural group, street hawker, for using message dissemination on cause and consequence of SS-FGF
∎ Select participant primarily for training/orientation
∎ Assist to arrange CFDE with the help of GoB staff and prepare suspected patients list
∎ Follow-up patient’s house to receive surgery service trough counselling and motivation
∎ Select beneficiaries for rehabilitation training and identify feasible trade
∎ Select school trough UEO to work with school girls on SS-FGF’s cause and consequence
∎ Reporting, monitoring, follow-up and documented case study and best practicing
∎ Closely work with trained TBA, CFA, CHCP, FWA, FWV, FPI, HA, AHI, UP female member, village practitioner
∎ Work with local journalist , local cable TV network for spreading the project’s message widely in remote areas
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years experience in the area of health and community mobilization. Willingness to learn, Responsible, innovative, self motivated & ability to identifying fistula patients. Ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholder. Have willingness to work at field level. Motorcycle driving license candidate will be given priority.
Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 16,000-18000 per month. Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
