Job Context:
∎ Osmo Corporation is a leading first growing organization that produces high-quality residential, commercial, and industrial water filters in Bangladesh.
∎ As the demand for our products continues to increase, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Production Manager to join our team and oversee our manufacturing facility.
∎ As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production process from start to finish, ensuring that our products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with other departments such as engineering, procurement, quality control, and logistics to ensure that all necessary resources are available to support production.
∎ In this role, you will lead a team of production workers, including supervisors, technicians, and line workers, and will be responsible for ensuring that they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their job duties. You will work closely with the team to identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
∎ The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, with experience managing a team of production workers and a track record of driving process improvements. They will be a self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Detailed knowledge of the end-to-end manufacturing processes relevant to their operation and endorsed Good Manufacturing Practice
∎ Planning and organizing production schedules to meet customer demand, ensuring that production is cost-effective and efficient.
∎ Monitoring and managing the production process, making adjustments and recommendations as necessary to ensure that production targets are met.
∎ Utilize appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team. Full knowledge of hazards in the workplace.
∎ Reduce costs due to waste and minimize the impact on health, safety, and the environment by working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials.
∎ To manage employee relations to ensure high engagement levels in the unit.
∎ Collaborating with other departments such as engineering, procurement, quality control, and logistics to ensure that all necessary resources are available to support production.
∎ Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses. High skill level in Continuous Improvement that is aligned closely with World Class Manufacturing and LEAN methodologies.
∎ Managing and motivating a team of production workers, ensuring that they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their job duties.
∎ Has the ability to identify, prioritize and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.
∎ Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
∎ Ensuring that production processes comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
∎ Able to coordinate business resources and apply risk management processes. Keen sense of prioritization and ability to influence change. Resolve conflicts where identified.
∎ Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that communication is effective.
∎ Maintaining accurate production records, reporting on performance, and preparing regular reports for management.
∎ Managing budgets and controlling costs to ensure that production is profitable.
∎ Staying up-to-date with new production technologies and techniques, and recommending changes to production processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the manufacturing industry.
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in the Factory Operations
∎ Manpower handling capability.
∎ Self-motivated and problem-solving capable of consulting with management.
∎ Related professional training or other educational qualifications will be definite advantages.
∎ Should be able to work 6 days a week.
∎ Should have a good mentality and be able to support the production team at any time.
Salary: Negotiable
