Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management, preferably in a zipper factory.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge and efficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in Bengali and English languages.
Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
- Implement best practices for lean manufacturing and process optimization.
Quality Control:
- Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet the highest quality specifications.
- Implement quality assurance procedures and conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues.
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure that team members perform their duties effectively.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe manner.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory as needed.
