Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a Production Manager/ Assistant production Manager who is an energetic , Pro-active & who have ability to make at 3 ply/ 5 ply/ 7ply carton manufacture knowledge for a new Semi Auto carton project at Mirzapur, Gazipur.
∎ Job Location: Rajendrapur, Gazipur
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Acknowledgment of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the Management internal / External and giving necessary directives to the Production Manager of the unit regarding the production plan
∎ Plan and develop a production schedule on basis of buyer order of cartons.
∎ Set the Quality standards as per buyer Standard.
∎ Monitor the production process and adjust delivery schedules as needed.
∎ Ensure customer Orders and completed on time delivery.
∎ Supervise and motivate a team of workers
∎ Setting productivity goals and meet the production target as per management demand.
∎ Maintain close liaison for the receiving buyer’s cartons order and scheduling program.
∎ Ensure on time delivery of cartons to different export oriented factories in order to shipment.
∎ To give necessary directives to the Production/Sample team to make a sample of a particular buyer in order to get the approval of mass production.
∎ To keep close eyes in order to attain an acceptable production limit and to ensure the implementation of the production schedule. If fails to achieve the production target, then the reason is to be guided for more production.
∎ To implement a price-controlled policy in every stage of production, so that production cost is reduced.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 07- 08 year(s) experience in working any semi-auto / auto cartons project as a production in charge / production supervisor / Assist. Production manager
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
∎ Carton Manufacturing and Packaging.
∎ Have proven working experience any Semi Auto / Auto carton factory as a production in charge minimum 5 years, to handle 100% export oriented garments factory & also making experience cartons for the buyer: Wal-Mart, Best & Less, K-Mart, Morrison, Basspro, Tema, Carrefour, Postie Plus, Puma Etc.
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong technical knowledge in production and quality system.
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the workers.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.
∎ Good planning and analytical skills
∎ Good command in both written and spoken English
∎ Hands-on PC skill with the knowledge of commonly used Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point, email etc.
∎ Good interpersonal & communication skills
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
