∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Minimum 12-16 years' experience of working in garments factories engaged in business with world-class customers/brands out of which an experience of 07 to 10 years as a Production Manager, managing overall functions of 15 to 20 lines of woven garment factories for renowned branded buyers
∎ Good aptitude with skills to educate and manage operators doing multiple operations
∎ Knowledge of production planning, rejection control, maintaining of AQL and understanding of Industrial Engineering in apparel production
∎ Excellent communication skills with fair command over English language
∎ Knowledge of Internet & E-mail and other MS office programs.
∎ Leadership and motivation skills
∎ Knowledge of labor laws and other applicable statutory compliance
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Direct and coordinate cutting, sewing and finishing operations in accordance to the shift wise planned production schedule
∎ Formulate work schedules for the production team and communicate expected deliverables to achieve the production targets and objectives
∎ Ensure efficient utilization of resources i.e. materials, labour, equipment to meet production targets and objectives
∎ Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, production process management while maintaining production schedule to adhere to shipment timelines
∎ Ensures complete adherence to organization's quality standards and practices keeping in mind quality and compliance requirements of international buyers
∎ Track the defined KPIs to have complete view of the production activities and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure adherence to the plan
∎ Resolve production operational issues by providing technical expertise and insights to the team
∎ Ensure final product is in adherence to buyer requirements and specification
∎ Drive and implements inventory control and cost savings initiatives within the department to achieve overall cost savings target for the organization
∎ Identify development opportunities (skill development trainings, technical training requirements) for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the production staff for improving the overall production standards.
∎ BEXIMCO Garment Division is seeking Production Heads for its garment operations in its vertically integrated complex at Beximco Industrial Park, Sarabo. The incumbent will be responsible to drive, monitor and control production operations (Cutting, Sewing & Finishing) of 10 Line garments (Woven Ladies Bottoms) factory for both day & night Shifts. The incumbent will report to the Head of Factory.
