Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities:

Product Development:

  • Lead the development of new products from concept to launch.

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and other departments to ensure product development aligns with market needs and company goals.

  • Manage production processes and work closely with contract manufacturers (CM) to ensure product quality and consistency.

Portfolio and Category Management:

  • Oversee the entire product portfolio, ensuring a balanced mix of products.

  • Identify opportunities for new product lines and category expansions.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitor activities.

Business and Profitability:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals and profitability targets.

  • Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Work closely with the finance department to manage product budgets and forecasts.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Ensure efficient supply chain operations, including procurement, production, and distribution.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain product availability and cost-efficiency.

  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize inventory management.

Sales and Marketing Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

  • Provide product training and support to sales teams to drive product knowledge and sales performance.

  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns to promote products effectively.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams such as R&D, marketing, finance, and operations.

  • Foster strong relationships with external partners, including suppliers and contract manufacturers.

  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders to achieve product and business objectives.
