∎ The Product Development and Production Supervisor is responsible for leading the molecular team through planning, guiding, supervising and troubleshooting of day-to-day team works at OMCH R & D facilities and manufacturing plant to meet client requirements and cGMP regulations via Quality Control staff. He/She is also responsible for documentation regarding product development as per regulatory authority (DGDA). That is, this position is part of the Kit Manufacturing Department and is located in Rupnagar Indutrial Area, Mirpur, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handle the Kit Manufacturing plant's daily work activities including: Team schedule, ensuring training, general guidance of direct reports and across functional groups.
∎ Support development of analytical methods including SOPs. Work in conjunction with other departments to develop, qualify, and transfer technology as applicable. Ensure maintenance of equipment - qualification, calibration and maintenance.
∎ Identify and implement improvement opportunities for established Quality Systems, processes, procedures, and training to support Corrective action and Preventive Action (CAPA), Risk Management, and Investigation processes.
∎ Lead investigations for failures during testing; perform troubleshooting, process development or improvement activities.
∎ Assist in experimental troubleshooting
∎ Data analysis/help in data analysis, especially real time RT-PCR data analysis.
∎ Help method validation / qualification and qualification of equipment / systems.
∎ Help documentation, especially regulatory documentation including BMR and daily production reports.
∎ Reporting daily experimental, QC or other results to the proper authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ 2-5 years of practical work experience on different molecular techniques including PCR, RT-PCR etc.
∎ Experience with regulatory requirements and audit readiness/inspections.
∎ Experience with overseeing team and providing leadership.
∎ Knowledge of cGMP regulations related to Quality Control.
∎ Knowledge of bio-safety and bio-secuity as well as laboratory decontamination
∎ Candidates with Proven Track Record or relevant work experience with molecular products especially COVID-19 RT-PCR products will be given extra preference.
