∎ Good LIGHT WOVEN COSTING KNOWLEDGE.
∎ Min. 7-8 years' experience in LIGHT Woven Product Development - all kind of products - AOP, YD, Stripe, Double cloth, seersucker, Solid etc. - Category: Ladies wear, Menswear & Kids wear (Newborn baby to adults).
∎ Advanced knowledge in light woven fabric sourcing.
∎ Advanced knowledge in light woven Washing.
∎ Strong knowledge of apparel construction and fit.
∎ Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
∎ Fluent in English - Spoken & Written.
∎ INTERPERSONAL SKILLS.
∎ Excellent attention to details.
∎ Time management.
∎ Passionate about his/ her job.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Good light weight fabric and costing knowledge.
∎ Execute the sourcing of new fabrics to support the development of new products.
∎ Execute the sourcing of new accessories based on trends.
∎ Review the WGSN website to understand the trend and work together with designers.
∎ Collaborate closely with fabric mills on new fabric developments.
∎ Collaborate closely with designers, product manager and sample room throughout the whole development process.
∎ Communicate clearly with all concerned departments to achieve correct sample.
∎ Analyze technical files and work with Production Dept to check feasibility of product before launching the sample in sample room.
∎ Bring newness while considering the buyers requirements.
∎ Ensure final products meet buyers requirements.
∎ Ensure on time delivery of samples, Lab dip and cost sheet.
∎ Washing knowledge of light woven products.
