• Candidates from other disciplines may also be considered if they have strong relevant software/product analysis experience.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience is mandatory.

• Experience in Software Product Analysis, Business Analysis, Product Management, Software Requirements Analysis or a similar role will be preferred.

• Experience working directly with software development teams is highly desirable.

AI & Digital Skills

• Must be well-versed in using AI prompts and capable of using AI tools effectively for professional work.

• Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated information rather than relying on AI output blindly.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted software/product development tools will be an advantage.

Communication & Other Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and Software Engineers.

• Strong documentation and presentation skills.

• Ability to ask the right questions and identify hidden or incomplete requirements.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Willingness to learn new technologies, business domains and software tools.

• A proactive mindset with an ability to take ownership of a product/module from requirement analysis through development and implementation.

We are looking for a Product & Business Analyst who can understand business needs, analyze requirements and transform them into clear, practical and technically sound software product designs/specifications for our Software Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Business Requirement Analysis

• Understand business problems, user needs and organizational requirements.

• Discuss requirements with clients, management and internal stakeholders.

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for software-based improvement.

• Convert business requirements into clear and structured Software/Product Requirements.

2. Product Design & Specification

• Design and outline new software products, modules and features before development.

• Prepare detailed Functional Requirements, Business Rules, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.

• Define user roles, permissions, workflows, data requirements and system behavior.

• Define inputs, outputs, validations, calculations, reports and notifications required for each feature.

• Prepare sufficiently detailed specifications so that Software Engineers can develop the product with minimum ambiguity.

• Work closely with Software Engineers during development to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.

3. Product Development Support

• Coordinate with Software Engineers, UI/UX personnel and QA/Testers throughout the product-development cycle.

• Review developed features against the original requirements.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functional testing.

• Identify deviations, bugs and requirement gaps and communicate them clearly to the development team.

• Refine product requirements based on testing, user feedback and changing business needs.

4. AI-Assisted Product Development

• Use AI tools and advanced prompting techniques to accelerate requirement analysis, product design, documentation, research and problem solving.

• Develop effective prompts for tools such as ChatGPT and other AI-based productivity/development assistants.

• Stay updated on emerging AI capabilities relevant to software product development.
