Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Master Degree in Fashion Designing and Apparel manufacturing will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for processing orders independently on product development
∎ To deal with the Senior Buyers independently in fluent English for all the merchandising activities including marketing, sales, instant price quotation, negotiation and sourcing.
∎ Develop Fabric/ Trims/ Accessories as per customer's quality standard
∎ Ensure the right fabric quality, colour, trims and construction detail are followed by factory to achieve the correct samples
∎ Keep sharp eye on current fashion trend to update own development range for buyer and market expansion on fabric/embellishment/styling/wash/dry/process
∎ To arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics & accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for sampling and production.
∎ Keep liaison with Buyer for all the merchandising activities like order booking, processing, order follow up & export planning.
∎ To act as a coordinator among all concerned parties with a view to ensure timely execution and shipments of order.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Follow the developments/sampling in such a way so that given garment price and submission date can be achieved
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Experienced as Product Developer in reputed garments
∎ Knowledge on sources of available fabrics and accessories with its current price
∎ Knowledge in different types of dyeing/Printing/ wash/embellishments and styling
∎ Strong communication skills in written & spoken English & Bengali
∎ Ability to work under pressure and in a goal driven environment
∎ Should have sound technical and analytical knowledge
∎ Must have excellent knowledge on wash
∎ Computer literacy is a must
∎ Fluent in English both oral & written
∎ Should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality
∎ Should have a strong analytical approach towards building business strategies and implantation
∎ Good leadership qualities with excellent skills on training and skill imparting
∎ Should have strong communication/negotiation skills
∎ Should have sound knowledge across all kinds of Garments & Fabrics
∎ Should have a high sense of responsibility and accountability
Salary: Negotiable
