Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or similar. Bachelor degree if significant experience will be considered. 10+ yeas work experience as a Procurement Manager/Officer, or another relevant role, plus experience as a purchasing agent, buyer or procurement agent. 4+ years in the medical supply company preferred. Strong working knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as and aptitude for reading the market. Good communication skills in English, exceptional talent in negotiating and networking, managing/supervision of staff. Solid knowledge of supplier or third-party management software. Understands donor compliance, outstanding decision-making skills and ability to work well with numbers. Significant experience in collecting and analyzing data, bulk procurement and working on open tender. Excellent, mature leadership capabilities. Valid motorcycle driving license is required.

∎ There is a vacancy for the following regular position based at LAMB head Office, Parbatipur, Dinajpur:
∎ Job Summary: The Procurement manager will manage LAMB`s supply operations for products and services, overseeing multiple responsibilities. The position will seek out and implement cost effective deals and suppliers to build partnerships with, allowing the company to manage the wide variety of programs and services in the health and development sector. The Procurement Manager will discover ways to cut procurement expenses to help LAMB invest in growth and people.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT
∎ Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing
∎ Manage all aspects of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
∎ Perform cost analysis and prepare benchmarks, reduce overall expenses while increasing productivity.
∎ Thoroughly examine and test existing contracts
∎ Accurately track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
∎ Foresee trends and predict alterations in the negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
∎ Anticipate unfavorable events through data analysis; prepare control strategies
∎ Prepare for/perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements and recommend policies and procedures for such.
∎ GENERAL MANAGEMENT
∎ Set, track, and maintain procurement budget in coordination with the finance manager
∎ Delegate tasks and supervise the procurement department staff
∎ Collaborate with key persons across the organization to ensure clear communication of the specifications and expectations of LAMB
∎ MANAGE SUPPLY OPERATIONS
∎ Coordinate deliveries
∎ Works and negotiates with vendors to secure advantageous terms for the organization
∎ Initiate business partnerships and cultivate partnerships
∎ Works closely with Stores/Inventory to know supply needs
∎ Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
∎ Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services within the parameters of authority
∎ Manage workflow from initiation to completion (of both purchased orders and deliveries)
∎ Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
∎ Examine and test existing contracts
∎ Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years

Salary:
∎ Tk. 37000 (Monthly)
