Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Deep understanding of cybersecurity products and technologies: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Secure, Seceon, SentinelOne, Sophos, Trend Micro, and WAF solutions (F5, FortiWeb, Array Networks).
∎ Experience in SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOAR, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure), and Email Security.
∎ Strong knowledge of threat landscape, security compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), Zero Trust Architecture, and vulnerability management.
∎ Hands-on experience in conducting POC, solution design, and preparing technical proposals.
∎ Capable of communicating complex security concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
∎ Understand client security requirements and design tailored cybersecurity solutions.
∎ Assist the sales team in client meetings to present security architecture and technologies.
∎ Conduct demos and POCs for security products (firewalls, EDR/XDR, SIEM, WAF, etc.) across vendors like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Seceon, SentinelOne, and Sophos.
∎ Prepare detailed technical proposals, BOQ, HLD/LLD, compliance checklists, and solution diagrams.
∎ Provide comparative analysis and positioning of security solutions based on client use-cases.
∎ Act as a bridge between client IT/security teams and OEMs during the presales cycle.
∎ Analyze existing infrastructure and recommend security hardening, upgrades, or replacement plans.
∎ Work closely with post-sales and SOC teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful delivery.
∎ Respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI documents with technical accuracy and strategic input.
∎ Support product positioning, pricing strategy, and licensing clarification for cybersecurity offerings.
∎ Collaborate with internal product teams and OEMs/distributors to keep updated on new features and vulnerabilities.
∎ Conduct security awareness workshops and technical training for internal staff and clients.
∎ Maintain solution knowledgebase, reusable templates, and presentation materials.
∎ Assist in designing integrated cybersecurity architectures, including SIEM, SOAR, NDR, and deception technologies.
∎ Evaluate cloud security solutions (CASB, CNAPP) and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.
∎ Participate in Cyber Risk Assessments and Gap Analysis to tailor presales engagements.
∎ Support compliance initiatives by mapping solutions to regulatory standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST).
∎ Document and share lessons learned from client engagements and POCs.
∎ Help develop content for marketing campaigns, case studies, and solution briefs.
