∎ The Portfolio Coordinator (PC) is a senior level position and responsible for the KiA funded project management through the backstopping support of ICCO and KiA global office. The Portfolio Coordinator will report directly to the ICCO Head of Programs and the KiA programme officer in KiA global office. The Portfolio Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management, supervision and timely implementation of the projects. The PC will coordinate with the partners and will be responsible for tracking project progress. In collaboration with KiA global office, the PC will develop a KiA country policy and implementation strategy for Bangladesh. The PC is responsible for the preparation of technical and final report to KiA.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday with 40 hours per week. This position may be required to work some overtime hours to attend meetings such as the Annual Audit.
∎ Travels to visit partner organizations are part of the regular working conditions.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
∎ Yearly renewable the contract based on fund availability and performance.
∎ Have to follow ICCO HR, Admin and Finance related policy.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Activities Management:
∎ Support program start-up, management and administration. Ensure program implementation is on time, target and budget, using effective M&E systems to reach desired impacts.
∎ With the assistance of other personnel, provide support and technical assistance to each of the thematic areas.
∎ Ensure that program implementation is responsive to communities and partners and consistent with ICCO's and KiA's relevant program guidelines, principles, values, quality standards and strategic plan.
∎ Confirm beneficiaries are effectively targeted according to transparent criteria.
∎ Develop partnership frameworks, partner agreements/Memorandum of Understandings, and ensure partner capacity building.
∎ Coordination, Networking and Documentations:
∎ Develop and capacitate a network of Kerk in Actie partners
∎ Work and coordinate with the ACT Alliance members in Bangladesh.
∎ Maintain regular coordination with the partners and ICCO team to ensure support to the project.
∎ Establish strong working relationships with consortium members and develop an in-depth understanding of the activities, support needs and strengths of each partner with regards to their respective implementation.
∎ Develop action plans on partnership activities for the project on an annual basis through coordinating with partners.
∎ Establish networking relationships with churches, church networks, the public and other partner organizations.
∎ Desk Review, Monitoring and Reporting:
∎ Ensure that planning and monitoring tools are developed and standardized, and that data is regularly collected, based on the overall PMEL mechanism.
∎ Compile and analyse monitoring data and produce monitoring reports.
∎ Conduct and coordinate regular monitoring covering operational issues (finance and compliance), capacity strengthening and overall partnership at field level
∎ Provide materials (pictures, life stories and background information that is needed by KiA for fundraising purposes

∎ Strategy development
∎ Develop strategy for strengthening KiA profile in BD, strengthening collaboration and creating synergy between the various partners (mission and development)
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5+ years of experience in the field of youth skill and child protection, Disaster Risk Reduction and/or Emergency Response.
∎ Basic knowledge on churches and church structures in Bangladesh will be necessary. Active church member.
∎ Experience in coordination with the field team and skill for tracking project progress along with the preparation of reports.
∎ Partner management skill, experience in program management.
∎ Excellent communication skill- English (Spoken: fluent, Written: fluent) and Bengali
∎ Experience in coordination with government and different stakeholders.
∎ Excellent in activity monitoring and reporting.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication skill, problem solving skills.
∎ Good computer skills in MS Office.
