Responsibilities & Context:
Installation & Maintenance: Installing and repairing plumbing systems, including toilets, sinks, dishwashers, water heaters, and garbage disposals.
Pipe Fitting & Assembly: Cutting, threading, soldering, and assembling pipe, including metal and plastic, for water, gas, and drainage.
Diagnostics & Repair: Locating, repairing, or replacing broken, frozen, or leaky pipes and fixtures.
Drain Cleaning: Clearing blockages in toilets, sinks, and sewer lines using tools like plungers and snakes.
Blueprint Analysis: Reading and interpreting blueprints and building codes to plan pipe layouts.
Safety & Compliance: Adhering to local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations, and testing systems with pressure gauges.
