Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for engaging, managing and developing a team of operations staff and employees across all production lines and shifts
∎ Participating in the business planning and budgeting process by developing short and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies.
∎ Provide leadership and direction to ensure all manufacturing processes are consistent with company policy and expectations.
∎ Insure operational compliance with all regulatory requirements.
∎ Provide direction and oversight to maintenance and technical support activities to reduce time, maximize production and ensure proper care of plan and equipment.
∎ Ensures quality control and quality assurance processes are in place and effectively administrated consistent with Company policies.
∎ Drive activities and processes to promote safety and the creation of a safety conscious work force.
∎ Analyzes plant operations to ensure that the facility maintains a leadership position in the industry and that it takes advantage of new processes and technologies that become available.
∎ Responsible for expense control, including shrink, labor and overhead costs utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques.
∎ Develop annual manufacturing expense budget in accordance with forecasted sales volumes and planned inventory levels.
∎ Ensures that appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP's) are developed and maintained for all aspects of the business.
∎ Responsible for the Food Security Policy/Program to assess potential food security risks and to ensure food security preventive measures are being implemented and routinely audited regarding the manufacturing, handling and storage of all food ingredients as well as finished goods.

Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing plant.
∎ Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of regulatory laws and responsibilities as it relates to processing, filling and general facility standards.
∎ Proficient understanding of budgeting and cost control.
∎ Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
