Education:
- Master of Commerce (MCom)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- Professional certifications (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA) highly preferred.

- Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or EPZ-based export-oriented companies.
- Strong expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of Bangladesh financial regulations, including BEPZA, Customs, VAT, and banking compliance for export businesses.
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English and Bangla, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate financial reports to management.
- Ensure accuracy of standard costs including BOMs, item costs, labour routing, and overhead.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage site finance for direct/indirect costing, inventory valuation, and overhead allocation.
- Perform cost analysis to drive operational efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support to the Director (Admin & Operations) in special projects, such as customer audits, and compliance related assignments.
- Monitor manufacturing variances and suggest corrective actions.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
- Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), customs, banking, export laws, international accounting standards (IAS 2) and company policies for export-oriented manufacturing operations.
- Act as the main finance contact between the plant, Country Finance Controller and Asia Finance team; provide insights to support operational decisions.
- Supervise and support the plant finance personnel and develop KPIs to monitor financial and operational performance.
- Foster collaboration across departments to align financial and operational goals.
