∎ Bachelor in Occupational Therapy.

∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess the physical, communication and cognitive skills of child and person with disabilities to develop a treatment plan.
∎ Give advice and provide support for family members and Carers.
∎ Assess the home, school and work environments of the patients.
∎ Install the necessary equipment in the Neuro-developmental Disorder corner, physiotherapy center, and classroom for children with disabilities; teach the children and persons with disabilities how to use the equipment.
∎ Help children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances and conditions.
∎ Provide occupational therapy sessions to the patient including manual & Instrumental Therapy.
∎ Assist patients’ with exercise for pain relief, muscle and movement strengthening and improvement.
∎ Review the patient’s progress and adapt the treatment accordingly.
∎ Perform administrative tasks such as keeping records, maintaining ‘Individual CBR Profile’ and forms of each child/adult with disabilities, physiotherapy center registration records, writing reports and making telephone calls to children/persons with disabilities and their parents.
∎ Assist the medical team during special camps.
∎ Organize training on physiotherapy for the other medical staff on a regular basis (Paramedic, Health Educator).
∎ Manage patients during disability screening camp.
∎ Responsible for maintenance of the Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy units.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly work activities report and send it to Friendship field management and Head Office in charge.
∎ Regular visit the field and follow-up the patient's situation at chars, physiotherapy centers, NDD corners etc.
∎ Assist patients outside of char for better treatment.
∎ Any work assigned as per the advice of higher authority.
∎ Provided all required treatment of client at Physiotherapy center and at community level.
∎ Help children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities.
∎ Assist to Senior for smooth providing the services.
∎ Arranged counselling session for the client and careers.
∎ Keep and maintenance client record.
∎ Need to show empathy to the patient/children/adults with disabilities
∎ Need to explain all the procedures and treatment to the patient/children/adults with disabilities and their family members Not to make the
∎ Don’t make the waiting time long
∎ Need to have Patience, Compassion, Communication and interpersonal skills, Observational and analytical skills, Problem-solving skills and Teamwork skills
∎ Proper Maintenance & Cleanness of instruments and proper maintenance of medicine and equipment
∎ Cleanliness and fumigation unit regularly.
∎ Knowledge about correct aseptic techniques is used at all times during the application of instrumental physiotherapy to patients.
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to this room will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Language prophecy must be good in both Bangla and English
∎ Must have to maintain well manner and behavior with the patient
∎ Must have the capacity to work under pressure
