Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Diploma in Physiotherapy. Must have certificate
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide physiotherapy sessions to the patient including manual & Instrumental Therapy. ·
∎ Assist medical team during special camps. ·
∎ Assist surgical doctors during caring the post-operative patients in the ward in floating Hospital. · Organize training on physiotherapy for the other medical staffs in a regular basis (Paramedic, Health Educator). ·
∎ Managing patient during screening camp. ·
∎ Responsible for maintenance of Physiotherapy unit. ·
∎ Monthly work activities report and send it to Friendship Head Office in charge. ·
∎ Any work assigned as per advice of higher authority.
∎ Proper Maintenance & Cleanness of instruments and proper maintenance of medicine and equipment · Cleanliness and fumigation unit regularly.
∎ Facilitate in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports of the field.
∎ Established community based health services network through FCM.
∎ Access to emergency services, including a swift and affordable effective referral system
∎ Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
∎ Ability to organize a health services in which increased access, availability of, quality health care to the population in the remote places.
∎ Focuses on result for the client and responds positively to feedback.
∎ Should have a proven record of monitoring, supervision of field level activities and maintaining field team
∎ Working knowledge in English and ability of report writing
∎ Working experience with computers
∎ Previous experience in working in the char and islands areas and knowledge of local languages will be a definite advantage
∎ Strong inter personal skills
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 25 years
∎ Knowledge about correct aseptic techniques are used at all times during application of instrumental physiotherapy to patient
∎ Need to show empathy to the patient
∎ Need to explain all the procedure and treatment to the patient
∎ Don’t make the waiting time long Working environment
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to this room will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled.
