Job Context:
∎ Pharmacist is responsible for all program medicines received and dispatched from ALL the RI Pharmacy and clinics. S/he will maintain the inventory control system and ensure accurate documentation for the receipt and dispatch of all medicines. S/he will ensure the security of all program medicines and report all losses immediately. The Pharmacy officer will be responsible for staff supervision and management within the Pharmacy (pharmacists` assistant, casual laborers, etc).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Pharmacy Stock Management
∎ Complete full count and quality check of all goods received to the Pharmacy.
∎ Complete accurate Goods Received Note (GRN) for all items received in the Pharmacy and report on any discrepancies or losses or quality issues immediately. Prepare way-bills, packing-lists for each shipment.
∎ Ensure all medicines are appropriately stacked and labelled.
∎ Make a physical inventory of the stock (and pharmaceutical) with Operation Staff every month.
∎ All forms completed accurately and timely - GRN, Stock/Bin Card, WH Ledger, Discard, Loss, Theft, Waybill, SRF, etc.
∎ Create and issue DONATION LETTERs for all items/equipment being delivered to partners.
∎ Re-packing and labelling all shipments for onward delivery.
∎ Supervise loading and unloading at the Pharmacy; check any arrival of goods, quantity and quality. Oversee casual labor.
∎ Overall maintenance of the Pharmacy; report any issues immediately.
∎ Request and track pharmacy medicines needed for re-packing and storing - tape, labels, boxes, wrap, spray paint, etc.
∎ Pharmacy Security:
∎ Ensure adequate security personnel complete timesheets and perform services as required. Report any issues with security guards immediately
∎ Complete Incident Report for any concerning events and notify Office immediately. Document any breakage or theft with photograph support.
∎ Ensure fire extinguishers and first aid supplies are in place and kept appropriately stocked.
∎ Pharmacy Staff
∎ With Office and HR support ensure casual labor is appropriately hired and paid; supervise persons for loading/unloading. Ensure documentation of hours worked and payment is done according to RI standards.
∎ Supervise additional Pharmacy staff and pharmacy staff.
∎ Communications and Reporting
∎ Maintain a Pharmacy ledger inventory for all program medicines; keep updated daily for all received and dispatched goods.
∎ Provide weekly reports on the movements of medicines in/out of Pharmacy
∎ Track and report on all transport shipments in/out of Pharmacy.
∎ Ensure WBs and GRNs are documented and returned for all items received and dispatched.
∎ Maintain filing on site for all Pharmacy documentation.
∎ Ensure Gift in Kind items are specially marked and tracked according to same standards as program medicines.
∎ Communicate regular updates on shipment tracking for receipt and facilitate shipment from Pharmacy to partner or intend beneficiary.
∎ Coordinate closely with RI Operations team on the tracking and arrival of all shipments from Procurement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 Years' experience as Pharmacist
∎ Strong understanding of humanitarian principals, emergency program management and security management in high risk environments
∎ English language required
∎ Flexibility, team work, creativity and strong sense of humor essential for functions in this position
∎ Solid programmatic, organizational planning and technical skills, with a proven ability to work under pressure and solve problems in fast paced environments
∎ Willingness to provide capacity building trainings to staff.
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.

∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
