Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Do you want to make a positive impact in Bangladesh, rather than just simply ‘get a job’? This is an unusual role, where integrity is the number one requirement, and the ability to think flexibly and critically is essential. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent English communication skills to work with the executive team of a long-standing Australian-based non-profit working in the education sector. You will work chiefly with the Head of Country, Bangladesh, and be prepared to travel to Bhola several times a year as an interpreter/translator. We’re less interested in formal qualifications than actual commitment and skill. It would be a bonus if you are very organised as well as being an organiser. Being good with people is important, but also the ability to drive a computer FAST is helpful. If you happen to have social media skills, great, but willingness to learn would be helpful.
