Job Context:
∎ Manab Kallyan Parished-MKP, a Non-Government Organization is looking for a dynamic Peace Facilitator for the project "Strengthening Young and Adult Peace Multipliers in Bangladesh (AHIMSA)" funded by the zivik and NETZ-Bangladesh
∎ Job Location: Selected Unions of Dinajpur districts
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formation of groups as per the requirement of the project
∎ Planning and implement project activities
∎ Capacity building of CSOs by organising and facilitating training on Conflict Transformation, peace building, non-violent approaches and identity-based violence.
∎ Organising and facilitating training and meeting
∎ Maintain communication with all stakeholders at school and community level
∎ Coordination with public authorities
∎ Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual plan
∎ Support for preparation of qualitative and quantitative reports
∎ Maintain all sorts of documentation of project activities
∎ Provide support to the Supervisor for smooth implementation of the project
∎ Ensure gender friendly environment at all level
∎ Carry out any other assignments required by the organisation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3years' experience in leading managing and implementing project on human rights especially indigenous people rights.
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Must have the mentality to work with indigenous people.
∎ Knowledge on human rights, women's rights, domestic violence, child marriage and subsequent Acts
∎ Knowledge on target group selection from ultra poor communities
∎ Able to drive motor cycle having valid driving license and frequent field visit.
∎ Willing to live remote areas
∎ Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint will be added value.
∎ Able to prepare factual reports
∎ Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure
∎ Awareness and sensitivity regarding gender issues and respect for diversity
Salary: Tk. 16000 - 17500 (Monthly)
