Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge on human rights, women’s rights, domestic violence, child marriage and subsequent Acts·         Knowledge on target group selection from ultra poor communities· 

  • Able to drive motor cycle having valid driving license and frequent field visit.

  • Willing to live remote areas.

  • Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint will be added value.

  • Able to prepare factual reports·       

  • Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure·        

  • Awareness and sensitivity regarding gender issues and respect for diversity

Experience Requirements

At least 5 year working experience in the field of human rights and governance or similar nature project.

Job Context

Manab Kallyan Parished-MKP, a Non-Government Organization is looking for a dynamic Field Facilitator for the project “Strengthening the human rights and social participation of marginalised groups in Bangladesh with specific focus on women and girls (HOPE)” funded by the BMZ and NETZ-Bangladesh

Job Responsibilities

  • Properly formation of Civil Society Organisation (CSO) at village Union, Upazila and District level. 

  • Organise and facilitate regular the monthly meeting of CSOs at village level and bi-monthly and quarterly meeting at Upazila and District level and follow-up the action plan of CSOs

  • Capacity building of CSOs and Students by organising and facilitating training on Human rights, gender and  conflict sensitive democratic dialogue and RTI prevention of gender and identity-based violence.

  • Organise meeting, campaign, dialogue, public hearing, workshop,  public events on rights and gender issues

  • Support CSOs to facilitate RTI applications at local authorities.

  • Support to the HR violence survivors and provide rapid response support.

  • Organise a conflict sensitive democratic dialogue meetings of CSOs and Local Authorities (Las) at Union level.

  • Assist to organise significant public events.

  • Document the projects leaning, monthly qualitative and quantitative achievements, challenges and prepare periodic reports as per project requirements.
