Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible for providing assistance in writing content, Producing Audio & Video materials, Contextualize the audio and video materials, providing capacity development training to volunteers and coordination with the communication specialist and different stake holders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to his/her supervisor in producing high quality audio. Video materials based on the requirements of the donor.
Conduct community assessments along with Community Outreach Members (COMs), to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of audio and video communication materials.
Responsible of providing translation support and contextualize expertise to his supervisor.
Build the capacity of Community Outreach Members (COMs) on effective communication techniques.
Conduct regular field visits to understand community perceptions, identify emerging issues, and ensure communication materials are contextually relevant and responsive to community needs.
Ensure all communication materials and interventions are gender-sensitive, culturally appropriate, and aligned with protection principles and humanitarian standards.
Integrate protection mainstreaming principles throughout the planning, production, and dissemination of all audio-visual and communication materials.
Coordinate with BRAC communication team and provide all administrative support.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
