Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum HSC/ Graduation from any accredited and reputed university.
∎ Technical education in textile/ Fashion technology will be treated as added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
CAD, Sample
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create a master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes, using charts, drafting instruments and/or grading devices.
∎ To develop pattern with a view to Development of sample product.
∎ To prepare pattern for Fit Sample after confirming of order and hand over to Sample supervisor.
∎ Examine sketches, sample articles, and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts, and to determine the amount of material or fabric required to make a product.
∎ Discuss design specifications with designers, and convert their original models of garments into patterns of separate parts that can be laid out on a length of fabric.
∎ Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
∎ Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
∎ Any other assignment assigned by the team leader from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have thorough knowledge and understanding about pattern process of Sample department.
∎ Should have excellent communications skills in both written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of computer, specially MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Data Base Management, etc.
