Experience:

Experience and Preferences:
Have a proven track record in fundraising, partnerships development, or resource mobilization in a reputed NGO or development sector.

Has experience in fundraising from bilateral/multilateral donors, foundations, national, and international NGOs.
Strong understanding of donor landscapes, funding mechanisms, and compliance requirements.
Prior experience working in climate change, environmental sustainability, or community development projects is highly desirable.

LEDARS (Local Environment Development and Agricultural Research Society), an NGO registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau, has been working in the climate-vulnerable southwest coastal region of Bangladesh since 1996. The region faces severe challenges due to the adverse impacts of climate change, affecting the lives and livelihoods of local communities. Since its inception, LEDARS has played an important role in the development of community in climate resilient livelihood, WASH, Human Rights, Environmental Conservation, influence of the policy actor, etc., for sustainability. To date, LEDARS has received several national and international prizes for its innovation and achievements. To foster the mission of LEDARS, we are going to hire a Partnerships and Fundraising Manager (PFM). The Partnerships and Fundraising Manager (PFM) is a senior-level core position. S/he will be fully responsible for leading the fundraising team to take proper initiative to mobilize resources for the organization for long-term financial sustainability and growth of the Organization and its mission.
The following are the major job requirements of this post.
Job Requirements:
Development of a fundraising team based on the available resources, develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy and build capacity for the team members.
Conduct comprehensive donor mapping and profiling to identify and prioritize funding opportunities from bilateral and multilateral agencies, international NGOs, philanthropic foundations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Development of high-quality Project Concept Notes (PCN), Expression of Interest (EOI), Project Proposals, and other documents for fundraising,
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors and partners through regular communication, updates, and engagement initiatives.
Find out corporate agencies and introduce LEDARS for the CSR funding
Development of Partnership with different companies to strengthen the mission of LEDARS’s sister concerns, Forest Link (a social business startup).
Building capacity of the senior level management for development of technically sound project proposals submission related documents, e.g. realistic problem analysis with citation, detailed budgets, logical frameworks (LFA), performance indicators etc.
Monitor global and national funding trends to identify emerging opportunities and ensure LEDARS’ positioning within relevant funding landscapes.
Represent the organization in donor meetings, coordination forums, and external networking events, effectively communicating LEDARS’ mission, impact, and funding needs.
Maintain a comprehensive donor database and grant management system, ensuring timely documentation, proposal submissions, reporting, and compliance with donor regulations.
Contribute to strategic planning and institutional development by introducing innovative and sustainable fundraising approaches, including private sector partnerships and social enterprise models.
Identify the potential partners with CSOs, NGOs, Corporates, and technical companies for the implementation of LEDARS missions and programs.
