Job Context:
∎ Plan International Bangladesh is looking for a Partnership Lead to provide leadership for the way in which Plan International develops, works with, and relates to, the organisations that we are in partnership with in Bangladesh. The post holder will influence across the country programme to ensure a consistent and equitable approach to partnership in line with the partnership framework, that underpin the delivery of the Bangladesh country strategy 2020 - 2030.
∎ The Partnership Lead will convene and coordinate a multi-functional team, who will be responsible for guiding the implementation of our partnership vision, ensuring our systems and practice facilitate equal power relations and that our team build new partnership competences.
∎ Any of Plan`s Offices in Bangladesh: Dhaka, Cox Bazar, Rangpur, Barishal
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinates, and with the Director Programme Development & Learning leads the country programme's partnership approach
∎ Provides specialist advice on partnership across the country programme
∎ Develops solutions to diverse and complex problems within organisational policy
∎ Plans and manages a small partnership budget
∎ Supports learning, forward planning, and strategy development for the Partnership Multi-functional team
∎ Impact of this role is significant within the country programme in terms of embedding the country programme's strategic partnership approach
∎ The post has no direct line report
Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic leader with a minimum of 5 years in relevant implementation, technical and/or supervisory experience. Significant exposure with demonstrated ability to develop, nurture and promote equal-valued/shared-power relationship with diverse range of partner organizations i.e. youth organizations, CBOs, Govt., NGOs, private sector, academic or research institute etc. Experience in coaching and mentoring team members and sound understanding of gender equality and inclusion, and working with a rights based perspective is required. Able to foster a "learning culture" where all partners are able to learn from one another by allowing new ideas to come forward in an open exchange of experiences.
