Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree from any govt. recognized university
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create and maintain a positive and fruitful relationship with men, majhi, religious leader, adolescent boys, and overall community.
∎ Carry out community sensitization, awareness raising activities in the camps.
∎ Provide referrals service to men and boys to other referral service post.
∎ Closely work with the Sr. PSS officer and GBV program manager in the formation of the adolescent boys group.
∎ Carry out weekly adolescent boys and men sessions as agreed plan
∎ Plan and implement agreed project activities with support from supervisor and Sr. PSS Officer
∎ Ensure that a psychosocial approach/perspective is employed in all work activities and decisions and that these reflect the priorities and best interests of targeted community.
∎ Ensure that all program activities create a neutral and supportive environment for targeted beneficiary.
∎ Ability to work with priorities the workload of multiple clients.
∎ Ability to work with disengaged men who have experienced trauma.
∎ Strong case management skills and working with complex issues.
∎ Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of staff, clients and other service providers
∎ To ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest standard and in accordance with GBV standards.
∎ To plan, monitor and present cases in order to ensure high standards of documentation and communication regarding outcome decisions.
∎ To develop and co-facilitate support groups, working closely with team and partners in the community.
∎ To act as a positive role model showing professional and caring attitudes and behavior towards other team members, partners, service users and carriers.
∎ To work in a way that acknowledges the personal, social, cultural and spiritual strengths and needs of the individual.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Having 6 months experience on relevant field.
∎ Have practical experience in humanitarian related work.
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Experience working with multi culture communities.
∎ Can follow the working plan and program implements
∎ Committed to GNB Core Values and Mission Statement.
∎ Must know Chitagangiya/Rohingya language.
∎ Newly graduated female candidates are also encouraged to apply.
Salary: Tk. 35000 - 40000 (Monthly)
