Mandatory Requirements:
Having Experience working on Child Protection in a Refugee context will be given preference.
Sound knowledge of Child Protection issues.
Working with Adolescents and the Community will be preferable.
Having experience in quality report writing and developing need-based tools.
Having experience in documentation.
Able to communicate with English language (Speaking & Writing)
Able to speak & understand the Rohingya/ Chittagonian Language

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites applications for the position of Outreach Associate from potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing the `Education and Protection for Refugee Children (EPRC) Project` funded by UNHCR, located at Ukiya and Teknaf, Cox`sBazar. The aim of this project is to ensure a safe and protected child-friendly environment and provide education to the Myanmar refugee children.
Key areas of responsibility:
Ensure active participation of children at CFS and AdC.
Ensure the participant for Parents meeting and other community meeting.
Organize "Awareness Session" in block on issue bases meeting with community people.
Assist in implementation of Adolescent program with club animator.
Maintain good communication with CBCPC & other forum.
Organize MPC based simulative and recreational activates and day observation.
Assist CMO/CPO in different program arrangement and execution and data collection for different reports and papers.
Assist Child Protection Supervisor to arrange meeting with CBCPC, Adolescent Forum & others meeting.
Collect information from the field about vulnerable children and refer it to the case management.
Provide quality services of child protection messages to the community and adhere the child protection needs.
Ensure proper documents of the field session minutes and session register.
Assist Child Protection Supervisor to provide monthly child protection camp situation report to the Child Protection Coordinator.
Submit monthly work plan and accomplishment report to Child Protection Supervisor
Safegurding and PSEA
S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)`s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
