• Training or certification related to mental health, substance use treatment, or healthcare management will be an added advantage

Experiance:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations or program management;

• Experience working in mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or NGO settings preferred;

• Experience working with women-focused or vulnerable populations is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong organizational and coordination skills;

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure;

• Good communication and interpersonal skills;

• Basic understanding of mental health and substance use treatment services;

• Competency in report writing and documentation;

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAMwhich has also been operating 8 institutions and 11 projects.

Mayer Hashi Women's Mental Health Services Center situated in Dhaka, Ashulia, is one of the institutions of the Health Sector, aiming to provide high-standard quality healthcare services to the general population at a reasonable price. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Operations Manager-Women's Mental Health Services Center, Ashulia.

Job Description:

1. Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations of the center, including service schedules, client flow, and facility management;

• Ensure uninterrupted delivery of mental health and substance use treatment services;

• Coordinate maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of the center;

2. Staff Coordination and Supervision

• Supervise non-clinical staff and support coordination with clinical teams;

• Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing coverage;

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of operational staff;

• Promote a respectful, gender-sensitive, and ethical work environment;

3. Service Quality and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and government regulations;

• Support implementation of safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical standards;

4. Logistics, Procurement, and Assets

• Manage inventory, supplies, and operational logistics;

• Coordinate procurement requests in line with organizational policies;

• Maintain records of assets, equipment, and consumables;

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain operational records, registers, and service statistics;

• Prepare routine operational reports for management and donors;

6. Coordination and Communication

• Act as the operational focal point for internal teams and external stakeholders;

• Coordinate with government offices, referral agencies, and partners as required.
