Responsibilities & Context:

HAWLADER ENTERPRISE LTD. (A Sister Concern of Intraco Group)is seeking an experienced Operation Manager. The candidate must have a creative mind and excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining cordial relations with the guests and ensuring that the guests do not face any negative issues during their stay at the hotel.

  • Ensure that each department delivers a constantly high standard of guest service.

  • Ensure guest is properly welcome upon their arrival.

  • Coordinate and manage communication between guest and staff.

  • Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in.

  • Monitor how many guests coming daily (like today, tomorrow, day after tomorrow how many). Because if you know that you can manage everything before guest arrival. In case of foreign guests must be provide well decorated room.

  • Before guest check in must check everything properly (Television, telephone, door key etc).

  • Check shower is working, water is available, Towel, bed sheet are good, the room is neat & clean) which are the basic need for the guest.

  • Make sure guest should be happy when he/she enters the room.

  • Make sure when guest arrive at the hotel at Check in time the front desk work very smooth & nicely, give the correct key.

  •  Response to guests requests, problems, complaints in an attentive and efficient manner.

  •  Supervise and coordinate the arrival and departures of the special guests and VIP guests.

  • When check out immediately make sure the house keeping should clean the room.

  • Check the kitchen every day and make sure kitchen is very clean & safety.

  • Make sure staff area when they eat it should be very clean.

  • Conduct regular operations meeting with all HODs to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance targets and guest feedback.

  • Be responsible for all the day-to-day queries, complaints or problems that arise in the hotel.

  • Monitor the hotel functions book and familiarize yourself with all updates & amendments.

  • Ensure that reasonable care is taken for the Health and Safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises.
