Job Responsibilities:
∎ Operations Role:
∎ Manage day-to-day eCommerce operations by overseeing order processing and customer service functions and collaborating with marketing, purchasing, inventory and warehouse teams on operational initiatives.
∎ Involvement in both strategic planning and tactical execution - understand the strategic objectives of the business and turn broad, high level plans into actionable operations improvements as the company grows.
∎ Develop annual eCommerce operations plan, outlining objectives, strategies, budgets and timelines.
∎ Correspond regularly with retail customers regarding order status, product inventory status, replenishment dates and new product updates.
∎ Review inventory levels and incoming container schedules daily in order to plan and fill customer orders effectively.
∎ Set up new item details across all relevant platforms (ERP, EDI, vendor portals, inventory feeds) in preparation for new product launches.
∎ Coordinate the set-up of new customers and maintain relevant customer operations information such as customer specifications and instructions, routing guides, packing slip and labeling requirements, compliance manuals and key contacts.
∎ Drive excellence and constant improvement in order fulfillment and customer service by identifying and prioritizing operational efficiencies that decrease costs and improve workflow and work output.
∎ Monitor compliance performance indicators for each customer such as lead times, fulfillment rates, on-time fulfillment, charge back rates and return rates. Track progress towards operational goals and develop solutions to improve results.
∎ Serve as main contact for EDI service provider. Troubleshoot EDI and other system issues.
∎ Lead department in use and optimization of order fulfillment and customer service modules.
∎ Management Role:
∎ Supervise and mentor order processing team members - assign work, manage workflow based on order volume, train team members on all processes and procedures, and provide clear direction.
∎ Perform employment tasks including hiring and performance reviews.
∎ Establish goals for eCommerce operations team that support strategic objectives.
∎ Be a champion for company policies, procedures, values and standards of ethics and integrity.
∎ Embrace and lead the multitude of changes associated with dramatic business growth.
