Educational Requirements:
∎ DVM or MS in Pathology/Microbiology from any reputed University.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To perform post-mortem and ante-mortem of the birds and provide prescription/suggestion to make the bird healthy, immune and productive.
∎ To do HI test and Rapid Plate Agglutination test to check the antibody titer.
∎ Need to collect blood sample from broiler, layer & cattle. Blood collection may be performed from farms also.
∎ To examine fecal samples to check parasitic infestation and administer anthelmintic in poultry and cattle.
∎ To test the collected blood sample and make lab report on that.
∎ To collect and preserve samples, send it to central lab for further lab analysis.
∎ Need to perform Antibiotic sensitivity test through CS test.
∎ To visit farms in emergency whenever required.
∎ To train farmers and farm relevant persons about good poultry health.
∎ Any other relevant work assigned by the Supervisor.

∎ Computer proficiency is a must.
