∎ BRAC Bank is currently looking for a number-driven, digitally savvy, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for this position in its Operations Division.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Process and ensure trade transactions efficiently to meet local and international regulations (UCPDC, URC. URDG) business and client requirements;
∎ Process trade transactions to achieve a) Operational standards, b) Productivity and efficiency, c) mitigate Operational Risk and within the agreed Service Level Agreement with the business;
∎ Assist Unit Head in achieving financial performance targets set by business;
∎ Ensure transactions are released as per the bank's standard operating procedures, and client's instructions, and within the specified timeline accurately;
∎ Comply with the bank's Trade-based Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and escalate any unusual transactions on the AML to Central AML Division;
∎ Initiate SWIFT-related activities about the unit;
∎ Perform Reconciliation of Nostro/ Sundry/ Suspense accounts related to Trade Ops;
∎ Maintain relationships with internal customers for smooth day-to-day operations and handle queries;
∎ Provide technical solutions/advisory services related to trade transactions;
∎ Provide necessary business MI as per client's and business's requirements;
∎ Provide input in preparing different internal and external (regulatory) statements and reports;
∎ Prepare relevant MIS and input data in respective registers/portals;
∎ Filing and archiving of documents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 02 to 06 years of relevant experience in the banking sector;
∎ Sound banking knowledge in Trade Operations;
∎ International certification in Trade is preferable;
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills, positive and energetic;
∎ Be customer-centric and self-propelled.
