Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) is the apex trade body for the development of the textile sector of the country. Established in 1983, BTMA is engaged in the continual improvement of the sector through skills enhancement, policy advocacy, assistance legislation, and also assisting in the introduction of new technologies. Since 2015 BTMA has been receiving grants from the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, and GoB with self-contribution for imparting skills development training through its project implementation unit (PIU). The objective of the training is to create a pool of skilled workforce to improve the performance and product of the industry and member factories that contribute to the development of the textile sector and the country as well.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Officer (Training, Monitoring & Assessment) will be solely responsible for ensuring training, monitoring, and assessment of BTMA-SEIP in line with the CBT & A system and Business Plan. The major tasks of the Officer (Training, Monitoring & Assessment) will include the following:
∎ Support the preparation of training plan and training program, organization of training courses;
∎ Assist to Coordinator (Training, Monitoring & Assessment) and Assistant Coordinator (Training, Monitoring & Assessment) in the following areas:-
∎ a. Develop monitoring tools and monitor the quality of the training as per the Business Plan;
∎ b. Searching for demand-based training opportunities for the trainees;
∎ c. Conducting need assessment and identification of skills of knowledge gaps that need to be addressed during the training courses;
∎ d. Design, prepare, and revise training materials including training modules;
∎ e. Assessing instructional effectiveness and summarizing pre and post-evaluation reports determining the impact of training on employee skills and how it affects KPI (Key Performance Indicators);
∎ f. Maintaining updated curriculum database and training records;
∎ g. Selecting expert trainers, and training institutions, drafting ToR for the selected Training Service Providers (TSPs) and Trainers;
∎ h. Taking necessary measures for assessment of the trainees by the external and
∎ Support the monitoring of the training programs from selecting training participants, enrollment, certification, and job placement and retention for up to 03 months;
∎ Keep records of training courses and monitoring tools and prepare monitoring reports of all activities;
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the coordinator-Training, Monitoring & Assessment and the Chief Coordinator.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in the field of Training, Monitoring & Assessment.
∎ BTMA-SEIP will be given preference to the incumbent those who have experience in related government-supported skills development programs;
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bengali;
∎ Versed knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, typing in English and Bengali.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ As per the Business Plan (an attractive remuneration package will be offered);
