Responsibilities & Context:
Planning:
Develop and execute strategies to optimize outbound shipping operations related to Shipment from Sales Contract to forwarder CFS in Bangladesh.
Plan and execute Incentive work relating to export independently in timely manner.
Lead and mentor a team of shipping personnel, overseeing their day-to-day activities, providing guidance and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Coordination:
Collaborate with intra-departments functions such as Merchandising, Production Planning and warehouse to coordinate shipping activities to meet customers’ requirements.
Documentation Management:
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping documentation including Invoice, bills of lading, shipping labels, customs forms and export documentation.
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling, international shipping requirements, customs procedures and safety standards.
Implement quality control measures to minimize shipping errors, discrepancies and damages, ensuring accurate and satisfactory order fulfillment for customers.
Address customer inquiries, concerns and issues related to outbound shipments, providing timely and effective resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
Performance Analysis:
Analyze shipping data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of outbound shipping operations.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of outbound shipments, tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, shipping costs and other relevant documentation.
