ESNL POWER (Battery & Solar System)

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager – Commercial (Import) to manage our import operations for Lithium Batteries, Electric & Electronic Products, Solar Products, and related accessories. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in import commercial activities, customs clearance, banking, regulatory compliance, and logistics management.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

- Professional certification in International Trade or Supply Chain Management will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 5–8 years of practical experience in commercial import operations.

- Proven experience in importing Lithium Batteries, Electric & Electronic Products, Solar Products, or similar industrial products is mandatory.

Key Experience & Responsibilities

- Practical experience in importing Lithium Batteries, Electric & Electronic products, Solar Systems, and related accessories.

- Strong knowledge of Bangladesh import regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance.

- Hands-on experience in obtaining import permits, licenses, and approvals from relevant government authorities.

- Excellent experience in preparing, checking, and managing all import documentation, including:

- Letter of Credit (L/C)

- Commercial Invoice

- Packing List

- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill

- Certificate of Origin

- Insurance Documents

- PSI/Inspection Documents

- Other import-related commercial documents

- Practical experience in handling import banking operations, including:

- L/C opening, amendment, and settlement

- TT (Telegraphic Transfer)

- Shipping Guarantee

- Import Bill retirement

- Bank documentation and negotiations

- Sound knowledge of HS Code classification, Customs Valuation, Customs Duty, VAT, Tax, and other regulatory requirements.

- Practical experience in customs clearance procedures and coordination with Customs authorities.

- Strong working experience with C&F Agents, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Airlines, and Logistics Service Providers.

- Practical knowledge of sea freight, air freight, container handling, and international logistics.

- Experience in coordinating port operations from Chattogram Port, Mongla Port, ICD, Airport Cargo, or other entry points.

- Practical experience in arranging transportation and ensuring safe delivery of imported goods from port to factory or warehouse.

- Ability to monitor shipment status and coordinate with overseas suppliers for timely delivery.

- Experience in cost analysis and controlling import-related expenses.

- Strong negotiation skills with suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.

- Knowledge of Bangladesh Bank regulations, Import Policy Order, and relevant customs laws.

- Ability to prepare commercial reports, shipment schedules, and management updates.

- Strong communication skills in English for international correspondence and supplier negotiations.

- Excellent computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, Excel, ERP systems, and commercial software.
