• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, International Business, or a related field.

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

• 12 to 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies

• Age At least 40 years

• Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, or related industries.

• Minimum 5 years of senior management experience with responsibility for business performance and team leadership.

• Proven expertise in Air Freight, Sea Freight, NVOCC, Customs Brokerage, and Integrated Logistics Solutions.

• Demonstrated success in driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

• Strong experience within the Bangladesh freight forwarding and logistics industry is highly preferred.

• Well-established professional network with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, customs authorities, port operators, C&F agents, and key corporate customers in Bangladesh will be a distinct advantage.

• In-depth understanding of Bangladesh's freight forwarding, customs, transportation, and logistics landscape.

• Strong knowledge of international trade, shipping, freight forwarding regulations, and supply chain management.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills

• Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven P&L, management experience.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven General Manager - Freight Forwarding & Logistics to lead our freight forwarding business and drive the next phase of growth. This role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, commercial acumen, and extensive industry networks within Bangladesh's logistics ecosystem.

• Strategic Leadership

• Expand market share by developing relationships with key corporate customers, multinational organizations, and industry stakeholders.

• Negotiate strategic contracts, pricing agreements, and service partnerships.

• Develop and implement effective customer acquisition and retention strategies

• Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and service quality.

• Monitor and optimize productivity, cost management, and customer service performance.

• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practices.

• Financial Management

• Manage departmental budgets, profitability, and financial performance.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Ensure achievement of revenue, gross profit, and operational targets.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and business expansion.
