• Experience in Merchandising, Category Management, Buying, or Retail Planning, preferably in the footwear or fashion industry.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze sales trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.

• Experience in merchandise planning, assortment planning, inventory management, and forecasting.

• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP/SAP experience will be an added advantage.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Willingness to travel regularly for market visits, supplier meetings, and store performance reviews.

• Self-driven, result-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Manager – Merchandising to lead category planning, optimize product performance, and drive profitable growth across our retail business. The role requires a strong understanding of consumer trends, merchandise planning, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage product assortments to achieve sales, margin, and inventory objectives.

• Source suitable suppliers and negotiate commercial terms to maximize profitability.

• Lead seasonal merchandise planning, stock planning, and product distribution across retail channels.

• Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute promotional campaigns.

• Analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.

• Monitor category performance and implement actions to improve sales, profitability, and inventory productivity.

• Ensure effective inventory management, including minimizing ageing stock and optimizing replenishment.

• Conduct regular market and store visits to identify opportunities and enhance product performance.
