Experience:
Candidates with relevant professional training/certification in Customs Bond, VAT, Commercial Operations, or Export-Import Management will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of Customs Bond procedures, VAT & Mushak requirements, Export L/C, UD and UP.
• Practical knowledge of Customs Bond Management System.
• Good command of MS Excel, particularly for maintaining inventory, reconciliation, and export-import performance statements.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies in bond inventory and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Candidates with experience in RMG, Textile, Knit, or Garments manufacturing industries will be given preference.
Job Responsibilities:
• Receive and process Local Export L/C and Utilization Declaration (UD) documents in accordance with company procedures and applicable customs and bond requirements.
• Prepare UP (Utilization Permission) documents and collect the required documents from the Customs Bond Commissionerate (CBC) Office.
• Prepare local export-related documents and ensure timely submission to the concerned bank.
• Prepare and maintain Mushak-6.3.
• Receive Bill of Entry (B/E) and Mushak documents for entitlement goods and maintain proper records.
• Maintain In-Bond and Ex-Bond transactions in the Customs Bond Management System, Bond Register, and relevant Excel statements.
• Ensure proper adjustment and utilization of dyes and chemicals against the respective UD and export-related documents.
• Prepare and regularly update weekly/yearly Export-Import Performance Statements for Mavis Garments, Giant Knit Fashion, and Giant Textiles Ltd. (GTL).
• Coordinate with Procurement, Merchandising, and Store teams regarding short-shipment materials and ensure proper documentation and acknowledgement before issuing balance fabric/yarn for production.
• Review previous years’ bond audit balance of yarn/fabric, physically verify the actual balance, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper adjustment against suitable Export L/C or UD in compliance with approved wastage provisions.
• Monitor the inventory of entitlement goods and reconcile physical/ERP records with the Bond Register and other relevant statements.
• Investigate significant discrepancies between entitlement-goods inventory and bond records, identify the root causes, and take appropriate corrective measures in coordination with concerned departments.
• Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, reconciliation, and compliance related to Customs Bond and export-import activities.
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments, banks, customs offices, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of commercial and bond-related activities.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Manager time to time.
