∎ Position Overview:
∎ The Officer, Quality Control (Food & Beverage) will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet
∎ the stringent quality and safety standards set by the company and regulatory bodies. This position
∎ involves conducting routine quality checks, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance
∎ with all quality control procedures.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Quality Control Operations:
∎ - Conduct routine inspections and quality tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished
∎ goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
∎ - Monitor production processes to ensure that they adhere to established quality control procedures
∎ and specifications.
∎ - Collect and analyze samples using various testing methods, including sensory, chemical, and
∎ microbiological analysis.
∎ 2. Compliance and Documentation:
∎ - Ensure all products comply with relevant food safety regulations, such as HACCP, FSSAI, and ISO
∎ standards.
∎ - Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection
∎ reports, and corrective actions taken.
∎ - Assist in the preparation and documentation required for internal and external audits.
∎ 3. Process Improvement:
∎ - Identify potential quality issues and work with the production team to implement corrective and
∎ preventive measures.
∎ - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process
∎ efficiency.
∎ - Provide feedback and suggestions to the Quality Control Manager on ways to improve testing
∎ methods and processes.
∎ 4. Customer and Supplier Quality Management:
∎ - Assist in handling customer complaints related to product quality by conducting investigations and
∎ providing reports on findings.
∎ - Monitor the quality of incoming raw materials from suppliers and ensure they meet the company’s
∎ quality standards.
∎ - Work with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure that materials consistently meet
∎ specifications.
∎ 5. Training and Development:
∎ - Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices to ensure
∎ consistent adherence to quality standards.
∎ - Stay updated on the latest industry trends, quality control technologies, and regulatory changes.
∎ Qualifications:
∎ - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
∎ - Experience: 3 years of experience in quality control within the food and beverage industry.
∎ - Technical Skills: Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control procedures, and testing methods.
∎ Familiarity with HACCP, FSSAI, and ISO 22000 standards.
∎ - Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and address quality issues.
∎ - Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively
∎ with cross-functional teams.
∎ - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and
∎ make informed decisions.
