Responsibilities & Context:

The IT Executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and supporting users at the assigned location.

The company will hire two IT Executives under this position. One IT Executive will be stationed at the Head Office to support corporate office operations, management users, administrative departments, HR, accounts, sales, meetings, software systems, and office IT infrastructure.

Another IT Executive will be stationed at the Tea Garden to support garden office operations, factory IT requirements, biometric attendance, CCTV systems, network connectivity, field-level IT issues, and communication between the Tea Garden and Head Office.

Both IT Executives will perform the same core responsibilities according to their assigned location and will be accountable for troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining IT assets, ensuring system support, supporting data backup and security, maintaining proper IT documentation, and coordinating with vendors and service providers to ensure uninterrupted IT support and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, CCTV, biometric devices, networking equipment, and other IT assets.

  2. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, office applications, antivirus software, email systems, and other required business software.

  3. Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and basic network infrastructure.

  4. Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, email, printer, CCTV, biometric, and network-related issues promptly.

  5. Manage user accounts, official email IDs, shared folders, passwords, system credentials, and access permissions as instructed by management.

  6. Ensure regular data backup, antivirus updates, system updates, and basic cybersecurity compliance.

  7. Maintain IT asset register, inventory list, warranty records, repair records, and equipment movement records.

  8. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT purchases, maintenance, internet services, software support, and repair works.

  9. Support cybersecurity practices including antivirus monitoring, firewall coordination, password control, software updates, and safe internet usage.

  10. Maintain proper documentation of IT procedures, issue logs, troubleshooting records, service reports, and issue-resolution reports.

  11. Provide IT support for meetings, presentations, video conferences, printers, projectors, interviews, trainings, and other official programs.

  12. Support HRIS, ERP, accounting software, sales reporting systems, attendance systems, inventory systems, and other company-used software as required.

  13. Ensure confidentiality and security of company data, passwords, documents, CCTV records, attendance data, and system access.

  14. Coordinate between Head Office and Tea Garden for remote support, data sharing, system updates, reporting, and IT-related communication.

  15. Identify IT-related risks, system gaps, weak network areas, CCTV blind spots, equipment issues, and report them to management with practical recommendations.

  16. Assist management in improving IT systems, controls, reporting, documentation, and operational efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, CSE, EEE, or any related discipline.

  2. Minimum 1–3 years of practical experience in IT support, system administration, networking, or similar role.

  3. Good knowledge of Windows operating systems; basic Linux knowledge will be an added advantage.

  4. Practical knowledge of computer hardware, printers, routers, switches, Wi-Fi devices, CCTV, biometric devices, and common office software.

  5. Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, email, printer, CCTV, biometric, and network-related problems independently.

  6. Basic understanding of data backup, antivirus, cybersecurity, access control, password management, and IT asset management.

  7. Ability to maintain IT records, service logs, asset registers, and issue-resolution documentation properly.

  8. Willingness to work at the assigned location, including Head Office or Tea Garden, as per company requirement.


Preferred Skills

  1. Knowledge of virtualization tools such as VMware or Hyper-V.

  2. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, or similar certification will be preferred.

  3. Experience in CCTV, biometric attendance devices, IP phones, ERP/HRIS support, cloud-based email systems, or factory/garden IT operations will be an added advantage.

  4. Practical experience in remote site IT support, field network maintenance, CCTV monitoring, attendance device support, and basic outdoor network troubleshooting will be preferred.
