• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)/BSc in Vet & AH/ BSc in AH with MS in relevant field is preferable.

• 2 to 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

• Age At least 23 years

• Must have basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power point and data analysis software.

• Excellent Communication skills both in English & Bangla.

Experience

• 2-3 years working experience in relevant field is preferable.

Lal Teer Livestock Development (Bangladesh) Limited a concern of Multimode Group is the first Bangladeshi Research and Development (R & D) based "Livestock Breeding Company" in the private sector. From the very inception LTLD has been working for the improvement of Buffalo and Cattle breed throughout the country. Our R&D includes genetic farm (breeding farm), bull stations, fodder bank and modern semen processing laboratory, as well as improvement of feed, animal health and management technique for smallholder animal farmers including women entrepreneurs. The Bull Station is fully equipped with live bull management and semen production and distribution of frozen semen of dairy, beef cattle and buffaloes which is quality certified by ISO (ISO 9001:2015). Job Context

The Assistant Manager – Technical Services (Field Operations) is responsible for providing technical support to the field team, distributors, AI technicians, dealers, dairy and beef farmers, and business partners to ensure the effective use of livestock breeding products and services. The incumbent will supervise technical field activities, organize farmer awareness programs, provide training, solve field-level technical issues, monitor product performance, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Farm, and R&D departments to achieve business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support regarding Artificial Insemination (AI), cattle and buffalo breeding, reproduction, and herd management.

• Assist field staff and AI technicians in solving breeding and reproductive problems.

• Monitor conception rate, repeat breeding cases, infertility, and reproductive performance.

• Recommend appropriate breeding strategies based on field conditions.

• Conduct regular field visits & assist in bovine purchasing from CF/LF.

• Visit dairy farms, commercial cattle farms, Contract farms, and AI service centers.

• Observe field performance of semen products and collect technical feedback.

• Support the implementation of new breeding technologies and technical programs.

• Any assignment given by the higher authority / management.

• Effective Implementation of ISO 9001:2015

Farmer Advisory Services

Provide technical advice on:

• Heat detection

• Artificial Insemination timing

• Pregnancy diagnosis follow-up

• Calf management

• Nutrition

• Animal health

• Farm biosecurity

• Assist farmers in improving productivity and reproductive efficiency.
