Job Context:
∎ CODEC is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985 and now implementing different development projects in the field of Education, Livelihood support, Environment, Legal Service, Humanitarian Field, Advocacy, Health & Nutrition etc. The aim of CODEC is to provide support and assistance to the disadvantaged coastal communities in their day to day struggle.
∎ To cherish the Monitoring & Evaluation Cell under Head Office, Community Development Centre (CODEC) is going to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic and positive minded "Officer-Monitoring & Evaluation" who has strong mindset to build the career in Monitoring and Evaluation cell.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To be acquainted with organization's goal, mission and vision
∎ To work as a team member of CODEC Monitoring and Evaluation Cell in Head office.
∎ Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures.
∎ Monitor all project activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output.
∎ Prepare and recommend further improvement of the logical frame works of different projects/program.
∎ To develop monitoring mechanism and tools by formulating SMART indicators based on the project goal, objectives, activities, and outputs with due consultation with the supervisor.
∎ To conduct monthly/quarterly systematic monitoring on the assigned project implementation, prepare monitoring reports, provide support and practical guidance to management to ensure the quantity and quality.
∎ Ensure coordination and communication among the project team and with different stakeholders for proper monitoring and evaluation of the assigned project activities.
∎ Monitor the quality-of-service delivery and ensure appropriate steps are taken to enhance the quality-of-service delivery.
∎ Evaluate the qualitative and quantitative achievements as per work plan in accordance with the organizational mission/ goals and objectives.
∎ Assist the team as per direction of the supervisor to search for new project opportunities and prepare new project proposals.
∎ Provide required data/information and feedback on assigned projects in the CODEC MIS system.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Job Location - Head Office, Chattogram with extensive field visits in working areas of CODEC.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should have proven skill and experience in interpreting quantitative and qualitative narrative information and report writing in Bangla and English and also have computer software mainly on spread sheet, electronic databases, website base date uploading and internet browsing.
∎ Conduct/Assist research /survey on different Projects as needed.
∎ Ensure quantitative & qualitative data is accurate, reliable, timely, complete and precise in required compliance
∎ Measure progress in terms of output and outcome.
∎ data collection, analysis report and periodic monitoring report for the assigned projects;
∎ Good knowledge on ICT based monitoring system.
∎ Candidates having knowledge on SPSS and other statistical software will be given preference.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ This position will be contractual basis, but has scope to be permanent.
∎ Experience in Power Point presentation, MS word, MS Excel, Graphs etc. .
Salary:
∎ Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
∎ Tk. 35000 (Monthly) initially. If this position will be confirm as per performance s/he will be entitled other benefits as per Service and HR policy.

∎ As per Organizational Policy.
