Minimum 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in any National and International NGOI/Government Project.
Experiences in the Global Fund HIV Project will be preferable.
Job Context:
Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing to the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 projects.
DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of “Program Officer” of its “Prioritized HIV prevention services for key populations in Bangladesh, Comprehensive prevention programs for people who inject drugs (PWID) and their partners” Project under DAM Health and WASH Sector funded by The Global Fund.
Job Responsibility:
Effective and efficient designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating of GF PUD GF7 project activities in the operational level.
Effective and efficient use of project assets, resources and ensure harm reduction materials.
Monitoring, supervision, reporting and documentation.
Advocacy, coordination, collaboration, linkages, liaison and Information management
Prepare qualitative information part of monthly, quarterly and another report as per the nature of the project.
Ensure accuracy, validity and reliabilities of data/information from raw to reporting level.
Checking and preserving all reports (event, monthly, quarterly, annual etc.) received from the service centers level.
Coordinating with project staff to ensure different reports in time with relevant information.
The Officer-M&E has to maintain regular coordination, collaboration and communication with law enforcement agencies, relevant GoB officials- local Civil Surgeon office, DNC, NGOs, SHGs and other related organizations/stakeholders.
Assist supervisors to prepare monthly, quarterly & annual report.
Directly reported to the Program Manager (PM)
He is responsible for overseeing the program, finance, and monitoring of all the service centers.
He is responsible to checking CIS data, submit monthly report throguh CIS platform, submit monthly report, addition report, quarterly report and other related reports within the given timeframe.
He is oversee the target Vs achievement and takes measures in those service centers.
He is responsible for assisting the service center team to organize events and prepare reports and documentation.
He is responsible to verifying the bill/vouchers in those areas and guiding the team to submit bills.
He is responsible for enhancing the capacity of the staff where needed.
He is responsible for overseeing the service center decoration, ensure documents, make sure the PSM as project guideline.
To submit an advance monitoring visit plan to the respective supervisor (PM) to insert his suggestions and get maximum output.
He is performing any other assignment given the by the line management time to time.
