Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in preparing procurement requisition, including specifications and other relevant fields in it
∎ Prepare and send RFQ to potential bidders in applicable case, collect quotation within timeline, bid evaluation, commercial evaluation, delivery follow up, bill management, etc.
∎ Visit to market to identify potential suppliers (if necessary). In some cases spot quotation needs to take for emergency goods procurement, post factor approval, etc.
∎ Assist HCMP Kutupalong, Ukhia programme team and follow up with the vendors for supplies
∎ Ensure cost savings together with a range of additional benefits including improved supplier performance, improved quality of service and total cost of performance along with risk management.
∎ Ensure compliance and make sure all procurement activities of HCMP are conducted following the HCMP procurement guideline.
∎ Negotiate with vendors’ prior approval and prepare purchase order with necessary terms and conditions for signature
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
