Job Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Store Control Audit

• Conduct audits of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), accessories, and finished goods inventory.

• Perform periodic physical stock verification and reconcile variances with the ERP system and stock registers.

• Review and verify Goods Receipt (GRN), material requisitions/issues, returns, transfers, stock adjustments, and inventory movement controls.

• Identify inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

2. Process & Cost Control Audit

• Audit the complete manufacturing process from Yarn Purchase to Final Shipment, including:

  • Yarn Procurement

  • Knitting

  • Dyeing

  • Fabric Inspection

  • Cutting

  • Printing & Embroidery

  • Sewing

  • Finishing

  • Packing & Shipment

• Verify material consumption, process losses, wastage, and production efficiencies at each stage.

• Ensure compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal control policies.

• Review production costing and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

3. Internal Audit – Manufacturing & Operations

• Evaluate production processes, operational controls, and workflow efficiency.

• Review controls over wastage, rejection, rework, and scrap management.

• Audit maintenance activities, machine utilization, spare parts consumption, and maintenance cost controls.

• Assess compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and statutory requirements.

• Prepare audit reports, identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.

4. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare detailed audit findings and present recommendations to management.

• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and conduct follow-up audits.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by strengthening internal controls and operational efficiency.
