Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct time/motion studies, set Standard Minute Values (SMV), design machine layouts, and create operation bulletins.
Balance production lines to minimize work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure smooth workflow.
Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, reduce non-productive time (NPT), and improve overall line efficiency
Develop skill matrices, assess operator skills, train workers, and ensure proper operator allocation.
Prepare efficiency reports, monitor hourly production, and analyze data for corrective actions.
Support costing through SMV calculation and identify areas to reduce waste and costs.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Merchandising, and Management for goal alignment.
