Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ The Applicant should have Bachelor's degree in Gender Studies or a related field (agriculture, education, sociology, nutrition, development studies, social sciences, health etc.).
∎ Skills Required: Gender and child participation, gender integration programing

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Community Based Child Protection , Gender based violence, Gender Equality Interventions, Gender Integration, gender mainstreaming, Gender Sensitive Programming
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support on gender analysis during the technical program design, and projects need assessment phase; lead the integration of gender analysis findings into program activity plans, strategies, budgets, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems;
∎ Participate in field-level, gender assessments to support quality improvement and on-site training and capacity needs;
∎ Ensure gender is integrated with all sections of project proposals; gender-disaggregated KPI setting, gender-sensitive MEL frameworks, gender-sensitive budgeting, and gender-sensitive language is used in the narrative part of the proposals;
∎ Conduct field visits to field offices to support improved project implementation through training, observation, and field assessments;
∎ Provide technical and managerial oversight for any gender programmatic aspects as relevant, such as child marriage and transforming gender norms;
∎ Develop/adopt gender tools with spot technical support as needed;
∎ Provide technical support on the implementation of the FH gender policy and gender mainstreaming guidelines;
∎ Represent FHB at relevant forums and working groups in order to enhance FHB's gender work and reputation in the international development community;
∎ Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ In-depth understanding of gender, age, and other socio-cultural factors in the context of education, food security, and nutrition programming.
∎ Ability to foster commitment and build capacity among activity staff and in-country actors to gender integration and empowerment, including training and workshop facilitation skills and experience.
∎ Proven ability to connect sectoral issues and programmatic approaches on gender; experience with gender-based violence including child marriage prevention an asset.
∎ Substantive knowledge and experience integrating gender into programming, including needs assessment, gender analysis, program implementation, and monitoring.
∎ Ability to facilitate, coordinate and advocate for gender equality programming across different grants, child sponsorship, and humanitarian programs.
∎ Ability to travel up to 30% to field offices and project sites.
